My Story

Andra Woodard

Bachelor of Social Work & Certified Care Coordinator

Serving God to serve people. I am a Christian who because of the grace of God can serve a great community such as Seward. For more than 10 years I have worked in the healthcare field.  In 2019 life threw my family a curve ball when my oldest son was in an automobile accident and broke his neck.  I thank God daily our son is still with us but we have had to learn how to do life differently.  Our son is now a quadriplegic. We, my husband and I,  are now his sole caregivers working together to move him towards independence.  Our son will one day live a life of his own and with our help he will have his independence back.

I am a Care Coordinator with my bachelors degree in social work with a minor in psychology and certified with the State of Alaska.  My aim and goal is to help equip people, like my son and those struggling in the medical system, with the mindset, ability, and skills to get trough and live as independently as possible within their own homes and communities for as long as they are able to do so safely through professional partnerships.

I am also not a stranger to the daily struggles of life as a caregiver, mother, and a woman.  Hormones and difficult emotions are not always our friends.  I believe that through nutrition, vitamins, and a how lot of prayer, together we can figure out how to live life with a little more peace and joy.

Being an advocate and defender for life and health, I believe people, regardless of their abilities, can live their best life possible with just the right amount of support and encouragement. I would love to work with you and show you how you can change your life too.

Why the Goat and Chicken?

Aside from being two of my favorite animals to have raised, goats are known for their curiosity, balance, and intuition.  And chickens are known for their courage and bringing forth new life. These qualities I believe to have myself as well.
